Global Fintech Funding Hits $12 Billion in Q1 2026
Venture funding to fintech startups reached $12 billion across 751 deals as of April 6, up 5% YoY from $11.4 billion in 1,097 deals in 2025. U.S. fintechs captured $6.3 billion, a 47% YoY increase, though down 50% from Q4 2025.
Late-stage funding dropped 43% sequentially to $6.9 billion.
