Ubisoft Announces Major Company Reset: 6 Games Cancelled, 7 Delayed, 2 Studios Closed
Ubisoft has cancelled six games, including the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake and four unannounced titles, for not meeting quality standards. Seven other games are delayed, with one slipping from before April 2026 to 2027, as part of a portfolio refocus on open-world adventures and GaaS. The company closed Halifax and Stockholm studios and mandates five-day office returns.
